We're Thankful!
Dogs NEVER bite for "no reason" and they never bite when a "growl" or "nip" will do. We humans may not agree with the reason or even recognize it as such, but there is ALWAYS a "reason" and it's vital that you learn to read your dogs better. Some experts claim that Eighty (80%) of ALL dogs will bite at some time in their lives. I'd add that if people do enough wrong things around animals those are very believable statistics. If people have been taught to be aware of their movements, body language and know how to act around animals, those stats are too high. The question is, which statistic would you like to be?
Human intelligence is not an option, but a requirement in handling powerful animals of any
species or breed. Help "Bite Proof" yourself, YOUR family, and guests in your home by learning to speak, read and understand Canine language. By learning the facts why dogs bite, you can prevent it from happening to you or someone you love. And you can PROTECT your dog, if he is forced into a situation where he feels there's no alternative, but to bite. You ARE RESPONSIBLE.
In working with hundreds of stressed, starved, mistreated, abandoned, neglected, frightened and known bite dogs, we've never been bitten. Our expectations are realistic and we avoid situational stressors that could provoke a dog into defending himself. If our record remains unblemished with hundreds of dogs, shouldn't this be an obtainable goal for any individual?
All of the Rottweilers in our care have come to us because a human has failed them. Not all of our Rottweilers are available for adoption.

Kid and Adult Training For Dogs
This represents a wealth of well respected information which aligns with our philosophies regarding the intricate relationship between dogs and humans. If you aren't finding what you need let me know. Our goal is to help owners keep their animals and resolve the differences that separate them from living together peacefully. By following the information, and always playing it safe, you should easily be able to never have any member of your family bitten by any dog. If you or a family member has already been nipped or bitten the information will help you discover where the tides turned that enabled the bite and how you can move forward and avoid future bites or nips.
Don't over estimate your abilities and never under estimate the instincts of animals who's ancestors are wolves.

Breeds, Bites, Myths and Misreporting
The simple truth is that dogs have sharp teeth and when they get frustrated, pissed, scared, aggressive or angry they don't call their attorney. If you're paying attention to your dog's body language, he will show you ample warning signs of his discomfort or agitation before he growls, nips or finally bites you.

We neither breed, board nor sell Rottweilers and are NOT classified as a kennel, but
rather as a private charitable rescue sanctuary. Your donations
to us are considered gifts and are not for value received. All of the
Rotties are homed with us, rehabilitated, fed, loved and
nourished back to good physical, mental & spriritual health so that they're ready for their
exceptional new homes.
Adoptions are by appointment only and after you've been approved for adoption.
For protection of the Rottweilers, our sanity and in
order to minimize stressful or territorial reactions, all
adoption appointments & surrenders are done at our office,
or other neutral territory. Your other indoor dogs are also
invited to attend & participate in the selection of your new
family member! Unannounced visitors are not appreciated and will not be accommodated.
