natural than that? Carefully selected, sustainably harvested,we
offer only natural, organic or wildcrafted herbs...that take
nothing from the environment and leave nothing behind. They are
always earth and animal friendly! Note:
Life is sweet, meant to be shared and enjoyed to the fullest,
sadly all living creatures will eventually die. The circle of
life begins at birth, ends at death and continues into the spirit
world. There isn't a pharmaceutical nor any herb that can perform
miracles. Even with the very best of care, we will sometimes
loose our beloved companions. The difference between treating
naturally while allowing the animal to enjoy his natural life
span versus treating with artificial chemicals is significant.
Often natural remedies enable us to be more comfortable, live
longer and pain free, alert and fully participating with our
environment. While pharmaceuticals will often conflict
significantly, cause adverse reactions and many times will cause
am early or avoidable death as a "side effect"..... This
information is designed to give consumers an introduction to some
of the more well-known benefits of some common herbs and plant
products. The information presented here is intended for
educational purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for
the prevention, treatment, cure, diagnosis or mitigation of a
disease or condition. Herbs can't cure anything, nor can drugs,
only your body can cure. Herbs can provide beneficial support to
create the most favorable environment for your body to heal
itself. Persons with potentially serious medical conditions
should always seek professional care. NOTE: If you or your animal
has cancer, please contact us for special consideration.

Rosebuds
& petals ( Rosa canina) ~ Excerpted
from Modern Botanical "The birthplace of the cultivated Rose
was probably Northern Persia, on the Caspian, or in the Gulf of
Persia. Thence it spread across Mesopotamia to Palestine and
across Asia Minor to Greece. And thus it was that Greek colonists
brought it to Southern Italy. It is beyond doubt that the Roses
used in ancient days were cultivated varieties. The voluptuous
Romans of the later Empire made lavish use of the blossoms of the
Rose. Horace enjoins their unsparing use at banquets, when they
were used not only as a means of decoration, but also to strew
the floors, and even in winter the luxurious Romans expected to
have petals of roses floating in their wine. Roman brides and
bridegrooms were crowned with roses, so too were the images of
Cupid and Venus and Bacchus. Roses were scattered at feasts of
Flora and Hymen, in the paths of victors, or beneath their
chariot-wheels, or adorned the prows of their war-vessels. Nor
did the self-indulgent Romans disdain to wear rose garlands at
their feasts, as a preventive against drunkenness. To them, the
Rose was a sign of pleasure, the companion of mirth and wine, but
it was also used at their funerals. As soon as the Rose had
become known to nations with a wide literature of their own, it
was not only the theme of poets, but gave rise to many legends.
Homer's allusions to it in the Iliad and Odyssey
are the earliest records, and Sappho, the Greek poetess, writing
about 600 B.C., selects the Rose as the Queen of Flowers. (The
'Rose of Sharon' of the Old Testament is considered to be a kind
of Narcissus, and the 'Rose of Jericho' is a small woody annual,
also not allied to the Rose.) It was once the custom to suspend a
Rose over the dinner-table as a sign that all confidences were to
be held sacred. Even now the plaster ornament in the center of a
ceiling is known as 'the rose.' It has been suggested that
because the Pretender could only be helped secretly, sub rosa,
that the Jacobites took the white rose as his symbol. Although we
have no British 'Order of the Rose,' our national flower figures
largely in the insignia of other orders, such as the Garter, the
order of the Bath." How ever you want to use your imagine to
enjoy them will work, as table décor, floating in bath

table....delightful!

with small roses bursting out all over. In the fall the hips
remain and are often huge, sometimes the size of a thumb. The
amber seeds inside the hips contain an oil high in essential
fatty acids, GLA, and vitamin C. The cold-pressed oil contains
between 30% and 40% gamma linoleic acid (GLA) which has
beneficial properties that have been used in treating skin
problems such as eczema and psoriasis, dry itchy, sun damaged and
mature skin. Can be used as a carrier oil with very small amounts
of essential oils added, as a massage oil, or added to other
vegetable & nut oils as part of a blend. Rosehip seed oil has
been used to help reduce scarring, to help heal burns, and
softens scars and keloids. It can help diminish broken
capillaries, but may also aggravate acne or blemished skin if an
excessive amount is used. The application of rosa mosqueta oil

dermatitis caused by radiation. This is one of the best antiaging
oils to use in skin care. Our Rosehip seed oil is either

Sage, Rosemary, Honeysuckles and Plantains, boiled in wine or

and throats, as need requireth. It is very good for stitch or
pains in the sides coming of wind, if the place be fomented warm
