Body Syrups Wild
& untamed natural & organic products ~ a
choice you can live with! | |||

What
in the world are Body Syrups? Why not just Body Lotions? Well, if
you look at the main ingredient in most lotions you'll
discover that it's water.....so lotions are mostly
water. Water is good for your skin, we love good, clean, fresh,
unchemicalized water; but don't you agree that your skin care
investment is better spent on the finest quality natural oils
rather than something you can easily acquire from your kitchen
tap? Our
Body Syrups are completely different in every aspect from other
lotions, even the partially natural or all natural ones.
Commercial Lotions are very thick and consistent, with uniform
textures, hot days, freezing days, they are the same; while our Body Syrups
feel soft, luscious & syrupy with a more natural * very
sensual texture and consistency. That's because we don't use
artificial stabilizers or chemicals that keep water and oils
blended together. Instead we use only 100% natural oils, butters,
herbs, botanicals & essential oils. Our preservative is
Vitamin E or other essential oils and we thicken our product with
100% natural Beeswax. In fact, we don't have any water in our
Body Syrups, so you are not paying for water. It
seems that there are several categories of lotions available. Commercial
lotions with no pretense of herbal or botanicals, just
about everything in them is artificial, read the label, if tbey even include the ingredients. Commercial
lotions with natural sounding names, but check the ingredients, probably doesn't even contain that botanical
mentioned in it's name. Lotions
with some natural ingredients, but contaminated with a slew of artificial, harsh ingredients that make mass production
possible. Natural
lotions with all natural ingredients, but their primary
ingredient is still WATER, inexpensive to manufacture by comparison to our Body Syrups. 100%
natural products, without water, or artificial ingredients, and
that's US.....a class apart. We're
disappointed when we see Natural skin care products available
with some of the very same excellent ingredients that we use, but
then if you keep reading those labels, you'll see that included
are all the artificial stabilizers, preservatives and things that
we consider harmful and to be avoided. Part of the reason is,
it's impossible to mass produce a completely natural skin care
product and enjoy L O N G shelf life, months in shipping, storage
in warehouses and sitting on shelves without powerful artificial
ingredients. Sure, it's tempting to make lotions with great
sounding names, bright artificial colors and have inexpensive
water as a primary ingredient, but that's not what we're about.
Our pure, 100% natural ingredients are made fresh in very small
batches, when you order, to ensure you the finest quality imaginable and without
water. You truly get what you pay for. But the differences don't
stop there. With other lotions you need to use quite a bit per
application, but not with ours....because ours are so rich and
syrupy just a tiny amount is all that's needed and the aromas are
far more concentrated and will last much longer. Our
Body Syrups are a blending of natural vegetable butters and oils.
Vegetable butters are fats and oils that become solid at room
temperatures and are temperature sensitive in our products. They
refrigerate well and warm quickly to your touch. If you leave
your Body Syrups in a hot vehicle during the summer, without
ventilation you may find everything has turned very liquidy. This
is normal, the oils have melted because of the heat and we
because we don't use any stabilizers. Once the oils cool down
they will be back to their normal consistency. A good shaking
will always reblend them. Of course, in very cold weather, they
turn much harder, but will melt on your skin's contact. Our
luscious, elegant Body Syrups are the consistency of rich maple
syrup, maybe a little thicker and very penetrating, excellent for
K9 or human massage, also helpful for healing of paws, claws,
hooves hearts or hands. Excellent on dry, rough, cracked hands,
legs, feet & paws.... remember they are all natural without
artificial preservatives, stabilizers or water. Also excellent on
dry coats. Goat Milk Lotions ~ Remember the stories about Cleopatra bathing in milk? you aware that pure Chocolate is
actually good for you? Not
the junk "candy bars" that frequently don't have any real
chocolate in them, that's why they're not called chocolate bars. Chocolate
craving has a hedonistic appeal for the sensory characteristics,
texture, aroma, taste & sensations. Such cravings are often
episodic and fluctuate with hormonal changes, such as that time
of the month, suggesting a hormonal link and possible gender
specific nature of chocolate cravings. Men don't seem to get
quite that same glazed over lustful look in their eyes when
expelling the virtues of Chocolate. Chocolate
is made from the rain forest fruit
of the Theobroma Cacao tree, but is considered a vegetable..
Theobroma cacao is Greek and literally means "food of
the gods" and we would not argue! Cacao enjoys a rich medicinal
history from the early 1500's. The seeds are dried and then
roasted to form Cacao the basic ingredient in chocolate.
Scientists date the use of Cacao to at least 480 AD. Cortes was
possibly one of the first Europeans to taste chocolate in 1519
when the Aztec emperor Moctezuma greeted Cortes and his army in
Mexico city with chocolatl! Cortes discovered the Aztecs popular
bitter chocolate drink made with water, spices, ground cacao
beans, honey & maize. Aztecs called chocolate xocoatl or
cacahuatl. Aztecs used luxury items including Cacao beans as
currency. Columbus
was also attracted by Cacao beans and sent samples to King
Ferdinand in Spain. The wealthier Spaniards improved on the Aztec formula by adding
sugar, Cinnamon and heating the blends to improve taste and
texture, it became the drink of nobility. By the mid-1600s, the
chocolate drink had gained widespread popularity in France. One
enterprising Frenchman opened the first hot chocolate shop in

chemist who invented the Cacao press in 1828. The press extracted
the Cacao butter from the cacao bean. Beans were roasted and
sugar was added to make chocolate. While some sources attribute
the English as having developed milk chocolate, more report the
Swiss as having developed milk chocolate by adding dried milk
solids around 1876 and the Swiss do top world consumption for
chocolate, about 22 lbs per person.. Medicinal manuscripts from
