If you have ever tried some of the " pet sprays " you might find them sickeningly sweet, at least that was our experience. Not only were they filled with artificial ingredients and synthesized fragrances but they just didn't provide the aroma that we were looking for or any beneficial herbal & botanical properties. Our Spritzes are a light mist of fragrant botanicals blended from the finest quality oils that you would expect in custom blended personal fragrances. These oils give your hair or coat a rich shine when used consistently and the essential oils offer the associated properties.
There
is no water contained in our base, so you are not paying for
something that you can get from your kitchen faucet....We chose
only organic Aloe Vera, naturally no harsh, artificial chemicals
or preservatives that may cause chemical sensitivities for you or
your animal companions. Aloe has a rich history and is even mentioned in the Bible. Although
Aloe Vera is a member of the Lily family, it is very-cactus like
in its characteristics. Aloe Vera is used in creams and lotions.
It's a well known healing and soothing agent for damaged, dry
skin. It is soothing and healing for burns, skin irritations, &
is a powerful anti-inflammatory, good for upset stomaches, aches
and pains and raw open wounds too. Our ingredients are costly and
the finest quality and with the declining value of the US dollar,
we will unfortunately experience steady increases in many oils,
butters & botanicals.
Most
of our Rotts line up for their morning Spritz before we charge
out the door. There is a personal preference, some pooches will
NOT like one fragrance and nearly demand another, while some
aromas are universally enjoyed. The Spritzes are formulated to
help develop and maintain a hea lthy, rich shiny coat and provide
emotional balance from the essential oils. A pleasurable bonus is
that non dog family members and friends will wonder what
perfume you are wearing and will be amazed that dogs could smell
so delightful. In other words, no dog aroma, only finest quality
essential oils.
We use
the same Spritz on our hair, daily, when the Rotts line up for
their Spritz, we all smell good, the car smells good, the office,
furniture, home and everywhere we go, we KNOW we leave an
alluring lingering aroma. People finally get the courage to ask
us how we always smell so wonderful...Yes, we're serious! The
Spritzes also make your animal feel good about themselves, they
KNOW they look good,, smell delightful, different & very
special, they won't get rejecting glances or remarks about
offensive doggie odors...they literally prance & strut! The
Spritzes work great on hot spots & itchy skin. We've also
used them on our horses to help with rain rot or other insect
related situations. Also good as room Spritzes in the kitchen,
laundry, bath, office and as a body mist. Like most natural
products it doesn't take a lot, just a spritz or two is
sufficient and lasts all day. And of course these are great
spritzed on freshly shampooed hair, your bedding, in the
office...use your imagination!

Agility~
This
can slowly help arthritic symptoms when spritzed regularly in and
around where your dog sleeps or spends his time. Spritz lightly
over your dog. Arnica has been shown
to helps with swelling,
pain and bruising, & neuromuscularly as in arthritis. It has
anti-inflammatory and pain-killing properties when used
externally. Typically used to treat bruises, sprains and
swellings & has antiseptic, pain relieving and
anti-inflammatory properties.. Cautions:
should not be used internally, nor on open wounds, unless the
medicine is in a commercially prepared form. Lavender
has been shown
to be beneficial as an anti-inflammatory, offering rejuvenating,
anti bacterial, anti fungal and anti-septic properties. Also
believed to stimulate the immune system which is your first line
of defense against disease. Bugs
Away! ~ This
will help provide insect relief, they may hover but won't land
and bite, A great alternative to harsh flea and pest products. No
need to poison yourself or your pooch, horse or other critters
just because you don't like being bitten! Eucalyptus
is excellent
for bronchitis, coughs, fevers, head aches, rheumatism, sinus
congestion, sore throats, general body aches and pains. The rich
aroma helps to renew a tired spirit and have a general calming
effect on your whole body. Eucalyptus
Lemon oil
has a lemony scent but doesn't have the camphorous scent of
Eucalyptus globulus. It has a higher citronella oil content than
citronella (80-90%) which makes it highly effective as an insect
repellent. It's also beneficial as an antiseptic and excellent
for deodorizing
Lavender has been shown
to be beneficial as an anti-inflammatory, offering rejuvenating,
anti bacterial, anti fungal and anti-septic properties. Lavender
is believed to stimulate the immune system which is your first
line of defense against disease. Lavender tones the skin and
helps with acne, oily skin, burns, sunburn, wounds, eczema,
psoriasis, insect bites, stings and is an insect repellent that
we use in our recipes. Lavender helps promote skin healing and
can ease inflammation, it helps remove tension and offers
soothing, calming and a balancing effect on the nerves. It's been
effective for headaches, insomnia and as a great relief for
stress and general relaxation. Citronella
is Steam distilled from
the leaves (grass), it has a fresh, citrusy scent. Citronella is
commonly used to deter insects, it has a citronella oil content
of up to 50%. It is also believed to be disliked by cats and may
be helpful to apply to areas where you would want to deter them.
Peppermint offers
a minty, strong and fresh scent as an essential oil which has a
cooling effect on the body, making it ideal for use by sports
people to prevent rashes and chapped areas. Peppermint's cooling
power comes from the high percentage of menthol in it's leaves
and preflowering tops. Herbalists in ancient Greece and Rome used
peppermint for nearly every ailment. Peppermint can act as
natural insect repellant and antibacterial agent, we offer it in
our deodorants and insect, flea repellents. It is believed to be
a good treatment for many skin conditions such as eczema,
dermatitis, inflammation, muscle aches and dandruff. Peppermint
offers properties that are uplifting, invigorating and a
stimulating scent that helps aid concentration and memory, and
relieve mental fatigue, apathy, headaches, and depression. Clary
Sage's scent is
grounding and herbaceous similar to Earl Grey tea. Deeply

associated with cleanliness and freshness. While Lemongrass
Oil sounds as if it is a citrus, it's actually steam distilled
from a grass harvested in Guatemala, but still offers that unique
soothing, quality associated with being a sedative on the central
nervous system. The scent of Lemon grass is soothing, stimulating

qualities. Since this is not a citrus oil, even pooches that

settlers, it's quickly absorbed into the skin and is high in

Needle, steam distilled from the needles, has a rich,

has a rich, woody, earthy scent that many feel contain

from a 1,500 year old Hungarian Gypsy formula. Sunflower
oil has a light
texture and is pleasant to use. It contains vitamins A, C, D, and
E, a high linoleic acid content, and few saturated fatty acids.
This oil is easily absorbed and can be used on all skin types.
Its high vitamin E content makes it especially helpful for
delicate and dry skin. It has a protective effect on the skin and
is healing when applied to leg ulcers, bruises and skin diseases.
Grape
seed oil is
an ecologically sound product that is made from the seeds of
grapes after the wine is pressed. High in vitamin E and is 76%
essential fatty acid, linoleic acid (also known as Omega 6). It

valuable antioxidants (known as proanthocyninidins), and has a
good shelf life. Very rich in vitamins, minerals and linoleic
acid. It's a light and penetrating oil for massage. It's also
