Our
selection of globally inspired Butters offer a blending of pure and
natural fractions of vegetables oils obtained during the natural
refining process. Vegetable butters are fats and oils that become
solid at room temperatures and are temperature sensitive in our
products. They refrigerate well and warm quickly to your touch.
If you leave the Body Butters in a hot vehicle during the summer,
without ventilation you may find everything has turned very
liquidy. This is normal, since we don't use any stabilizers. Once
the oils cool down they will be back to their normal consistency.
You can choose your favorite consistency by regulating with heat.
If they feel too soft, put them in the refrigerator for a bit and
they'll firm right up. Our luscious, elegant Butters are thick and penetrating, excellent for K9 or human massage, also helpful for healing of paws, claws, hooves hearts or hands. Excellent on dry, rough, cracked hands, legs, feet & paws.... remember they are all natural without artificial preservatives, stabilizers or water. Also excellent on dry coats or hair conditioners. Offered in small quantities without sacrificing quality, you can enjoy experimenting with your own custom blends to make your own body care products or just use them straight. Butters
are thick and creamy with wonderful mild natural aromas, beautifully
enhanced when combined with essential oils. Just a small amount
is all that's needed to glide across your skin. Unlike commercial
skin care you won't need to apply these several times daily and
your skin will feel and look much more even textured and feel
less dry, in particular with weather extremes. Remember to use a
very small amount, it will go easily and spreads quickly as it
glides across your skin, it may briefly feel oily as the natural
oils melt on contact with your skin, wait a few seconds and
you'll be surprised and impressed how quickly they penetrate into
your skin and leave it smelling great and no oily feeling
remaining.
Bulk Raw Foods Like
all of our products, you'll find many similar products that will
cost you substantially more, while we are in the mid price range.
Some people simply prefer paying more for something thinking that
they are buying more. Our prices are based on the fluctuating
prices of global currencies against the declining purchasing
power of the dollar. Some ingredients are very expensive, while
others are more moderately priced. Our ingredients are of the
highest quality and not inferior in any way, nor contaminated
with synthesized, artificial ingredients found in most commercial
skin care that are able to sit on the shelves for years because
of the harsh preservatives, stabilizers, fillers & additives.
Our philosophy is to provide the highest quality ingredients at
realistic prices. If something is too cheap, you might want to
read the label and compare to see if you really want to put those
synthetic products on your body.....or do they even tell you
exactly what's in the product? Grand
marketing schemes often produce great results at the consumers
expense, beautiful botanical names, catchy wording, great
wrappings and photographs will give every indication that a
product is made with nothing but the freshest and best natural
ingredients. Try pronouncing the ingredients on commercial
scrubs..... Are they natural or synthetic?.... Our 100% pure
butters are just that and nothing more. They contain only pure
and natural ingredients, so the ingredients list on our label
should be easy to pronounce.. One further point of clarification.
Like many jumping on the organic band wagon, not all handcrafted
products, sadly, use all natural ingredients. Again, those
beautiful names, seductive words, nice packaging & great
smells can really fool a lot of us..... but what do the labels
say ? Many handcrafted products use fragrance oils, dyes &
colorants, which are synthetic chemicals mixed together, often
dozens or hundreds, to imitate a scent. This bombardment of
synthetic chemicals is possibly one reason so many people are
suffering from multiple chemical sensitivity. Fragrance oils or additives haven't any aromatherapy benefits.
Just smelling good is insufficient reason to use something
synthetic. While
you can purchase butters in very large quantities at a lesser price
we offer you the ability to sample various butters without having
to stock up on something you may not have a use for later on.
Quantity discounts are also possible with us.
Oh,
and not to be alarmed if your dogs or other animals are suddenly
very interested in licking your arms, face or legs. You can be
sure they will notice the different aromas. Most love to have
modest amounts applied to them as well as you. If they lick, it's
all natural, so you don't have to be concerned about artificial
ingredients. NOTE: There is a natural chemical in Cocoa Butter that can be very toxic to some dogs, please do NOT let them eat it. We
are truly unique in 3 ways: ZERO

Hemp butter is naturally moisturizing. Hemp Seed contains 50%- 60% Linoleic
acids which provide superb moisturizing properties. Hemp seeds
produce a vegetable oil that is high in protein and can be used
within a variety of foods and cosmetics. The hemp seed butter we
offer you is organic unrefined and is obtained by cold, expeller-pressed method. It has
a characteristic vegetable odor with a slight green color. The
seeds from which this butter is obtained are not sterilized or
fumigated. Hemp seed butter's high linoleic and linolenic acid
contents make it vulnerable to spoilage. Alpha linolenic,
linoleic and oleic acids are the essential fatty acids known as
the omegas make up 88% of the total fatty-acid content. Its
particularly moisturizing for dry, damaged skin and for eczema
and psoriasis. Hemp seed butter penetrates the skin quickly and
some describe it as a "dry" oil. This butter requires
cool, dark, oxygen-free storage conditions. For some fascinating
TRUE history read about how Marijuana and of course Hemp were
legal in the US until around 1933 and what the reason, the REAL
reason it was vilified....do an internet search with William
Randolph Hearst & Marijuana. You may be surprised. Hemp butter is from the seed
of the hemp plant that contains between 25% & 35% oil by weight,
which is high in essential fatty acids. Cold-pressed, unrefined
hemp oil is light green, with a nutty, grassy flavour. Refined
hemp oil is clear with little flavour or nutrients. It is widely
used in body care products, lubricants, paints and industrial
uses. Antimicrobial properties make it a useful ingredient for
soaps, shampoos and detergents. This will give a lite green
color. Illipe

Butter (Butyrospermun Parki ) ~ Shea
butter is a yellowish, ivory or white colored butter that has
been enjoyed thousands of years of traditional use by African
healers to help alleviate maladies of the skin and scalp. Shea
Butter comes from the African Shea tree found along the West
African Savannah region. It is a wild growing tree that produces
tiny, almond-like fruit from which Shea butter is extracted. The
tree itself is not cultivated and takes 40 to 50 years to mature.
In most parts of West Africa, destruction of the Shea tree is
forbidden due to its economic, health and social benefits. (Shea
butter is a valuable source of food in Africa.) Many herbalists
in Africa regard Shea butter as an invaluable agent for internal
and external body purification. Traditional uses of Shea butter
include: treatments for dry skin, blemishes, skin discoloration,
scars and wrinkles, a relaxer for stiff muscles, as an aid for
pain from swelling and arthritis, even as a sun screen. It's
excellent when used in body butters, hair conditioners, lip balms
and other products where particular attention is needed to help
heal skin irritations. As a result of its unique fatty acid profile shea butter is a soft
fat, which readily melts at body temperature, making it a very
attractive emollient for many skin care applications. As its
consistency at ambient temperatures is a semi-solid it can be
used in emulsions to assist in the blending of solid and liquid
components in the lipid phase. Shea butter has been used in
numerous studies and gives excellent results in the reduction of
dry skin, dermatitis solar erythema, burns and other skin
irritations. Some studies have shown that shea butter increases
the capillary circulation in the skin and as a result increases
tissue re-oxygenation and enhances the elimination of metabolic
waste products. This variety is produced by an ethically
sponsored African Co-op. Using traditional methods, this variety
of shea has a yellow color and the characteristic smell of the
nut used in harvesting. The intensity of fragrance and color of
this variety may vary, sometimes within the same batch, and some
users may experience some graininess as the product has not been
refined. Sunflower
Butter ( Helianthus Annus ) ~ This
Sunflower butter offers a rich, creamy texture and offers all of
the beneficial properties associated with Sunflower oil. Some
traditional uses include lip balms, hair conditioning treatments,
body care products. If you read the labels on better quality dog
food, you'll notice that they use Sunflower oil.....Sunflower
oil has a light texture and is pleasant to use. It contains
vitamins A, C, D, and E, a high linoleic acid content, and few
saturated fatty acids. This butter is easily absorbed and can be
used on all skin types. Its high vitamin E content makes it
especially helpful for delicate and dry skin. It has a protective
effect on the skin and is healing when applied to leg ulcers,
bruises and skin diseases. This is an excellent choice if you
want to try something different and enjoy high linoleic acid and
vitamin rich content.
