What in the world are Body Butters? Why not just Body Lotions? Well, if you look at the main ingredients in most lotions and you'll probably discover that it's water.....so lotions are mostly water. Water is good for your skin, we love good, clean, fresh, unchemicalized water; but don't you agree that your skin care investment is better spent on the finest quality natural oils and, butters rather than something you can easily acquire from your kitchen tap?
Our Body Butters are completely different in every aspect from other lotions, even the partially natural or all natural ones. Commercial Lotions are very thick and consistent, with uniform textures; hot days or freezing days, they are always the same; while ours feel soft, luscious & with a more natural & very sensual texture & consistency. That's because we don't use artificial stabilizers & chemicals that keep water and oils blended together. Instead we use only 100% natural oils, butters, herbs, botanicals & essential oils. Our preservative is Vitamin E or other essential oils and we thicken our product with 100% natural Beeswax with it's own beneficial properties. In fact, we don't have any water in our Body Butters. Vegetable butters are fats and oils that become solid at room temperatures and are temperature sensitive in our products. They refrigerate well and warm quickly to your touch. If you leave your Body Butters in a hot vehicle during the summer, without ventilation you may find everything has turned very liquidy. This is normal, the oils have melted because of the heat and we because we don't use any stabilizers. Once the oils cool down they will be back to their normal consistency. Of course, in very cold weather, they turn much harder, but will melt on your skin's contact. You are able to control your own consistency by cooling or warming your Body Butter according to your preference....please not in the microwave!

We're disappointed when we see Natural skin care products available with some of the very same excellent ingredients that we use, but then if you keep reading those labels, you'll see that included are all the artificial stabilizers, preservatives and things that we consider harmful and to be avoided. Part of the reason is, no matter how quaint and home spun the names sound, these products are produced by huge multi million dollar companies, and it's impossible to mass produce a completely natural skin care product and enjoy L O N G shelf life, including months in shipping, storage in warehouses and sitting on shelves without powerful artificial ingredients. Sure, it's tempting to make lotions with great sounding names, bright artificial colors and have inexpensive water as a primary ingredient, but that's not what we're about. Our pure, 100% natural blends are made fresh in very small batches to ensure that you enjoy the freshest & finest quality imaginable and without paying for water. You truly get what you pay for. But the differences don't stop there. With other lotions you need to use quite a bit per application, but not with ours....because ours are so rich. Like all of our products, you'll find many similar products that will cost you substantially more, while we are in the mid price range. Some people simply prefer paying more for something thinking that they are buying more. Our prices are based on the fluctuating prices of global currencies against the declining purchasing power of the dollar. Some ingredients are very expensive, while others are more moderately priced, everything is costing more. Our ingredients are of the highest quality and not inferior in any way, nor contaminated with cheap synthesized, artificial ingredients found in most commercial skin care that are able to sit on the shelves for years because of the harsh preservatives, stabilizers, fillers & additives. Our philosophy is to provide the highest quality ingredients and the most extensive collections at realistic prices. If something is too cheap, you might want to read the label and compare to see if you really want to put those synthetic products on your body.....or do they even tell you exactly what's in the product?
Grand marketing schemes often produce great results at the consumers expense, beautiful botanical names, catchy wording, great wrappings and photographs will give every indication that a product is made with nothing but the freshest and best natural ingredients. Try pronouncing the ingredients on commercial scrubs..... Are they natural or synthetic?.... Our 100% pure butters are just that and nothing more. They contain only pure and natural ingredients, so the ingredients list on our label should be easy to pronounce.. One further point of clarification. Like many jumping on the organic band wagon, not all handcrafted products, sadly, use all natural ingredients. Again, those beautiful names, seductive words, nice packaging & great smells can really fool a lot of us..... but what do the labels say? Many handcrafted products use fragrance oils, dyes & colorants, which are synthetic chemicals mixed together, often dozens or hundreds, to imitate a scent. This bombardment of synthetic chemicals is possibly one reason so many people are suffering from multiple chemical sensitivity. lotions, creams and soaps using fragrance oils or additives haven't any aromatherapy or beneficial herbal properties. Just smelling good from the bottle really isn't insufficient reason to use something synthetic.
Oh,
and not to be alarmed if your dogs or other animals are suddenly
very interested in licking your arms, face or legs. You can be
sure they will notice & appreciate the different aromas. Most
love to have modest amounts applied to them as well as you. If
they lick, it's all natural, so you don't have to be concerned

Vera butter is an extraction of Aloe Vera using a fatty coconut
fraction to produce a soft, solid butter which melts on contact
with the skin. It aids in rapid hydration of dry skin caused by

applications to enhance moisturization and the properties of our
